KidSpanishTM combines various learning methods into an interactive language/drama program designed by linguists specifically for children. TPRS has been used sucessfully throughout the U.S. for over 20 years!
The program then develops the most effective learning experience for each student through fun, interactive skits thus motivating students to learn Spanish at the prime of their linguistic development.
The KidSpanishTM program consists of 45 minute interactive exercises, geared towards helping children acquire the necessary tools for mastering the Spanish language through exposure to the language. It is successful at helping children communicate their ideas and needs using the Spanish language. By entering the world of Spanish literature, songs and drama, children learn the language as they initially learned English when they were toddlers—absorbing the meaning of words by their actions and from the reactions and behaviors of others around them.
Our Learning Philosophy
Research on left/right brain differences, learning styles and personalities suggests that each child learns best through a combination of the four main styles of learning: Visual, Aural, Reading/Writing and Kinesthetic.
Research has also shown that participation in the arts and languages enhances students' performance in other academic subjects.
At KidSpanish we embrace these findings and we develop programs that foster children’s self–esteem, confidence, while helping students improve their overall language and social skills.
